Suspect In Connecticut Homicide Case Arrested At Hotel In New Hampshire, Police Say

A suspect in a Connecticut homicide case was arrested at a hotel in New Hampshire.

Matthew Candler, age 46, was located and brought into custody at the Seabrook Inn, in Seabrook, New Hampshire, according to an update from Connecticut State Police on Tuesday, May 3.

Candler was identified by police as the suspect in the death of 51-year-old Jeffrey Rawson in Windham County.

Rawson, of Chaplin, was found dead at a location on Miller Road in Chaplin at about 6:10 a.m. on Sunday, May 1, police previously reported.

Candler was arrested by the Seabrook, New Hampshire Police Department with assistance from the New Hampshire State Police and other law enforcement agencies, authorities reported.

A pickup truck connected to the case was previously located in Salisbury, Massachusetts, police said.
